Steam Deck’s Dynamic Cloud Sync: How will it Work? Check Details
The steam deck is an upcoming handheld gaming device that has been developed by the famous company Valve. This new device is set to release next week. And recently, the developers informed the users about a new feature called the Dynamic Cloud Sync device in their blog post. Here is all we got to know.
This feature will automatically upload “all the modified save game data” to the cloud. That will let the players continue their game where they left it on pc or any other deck. Along with this, the steam deck downloads the saved updates when it is in suspended mode. It will sync with the latest save when it starts that will give you a smooth gameplay experience.
There’s no doubt that this feature will be a blockbuster in the market. Moreover, this feature makes it more exciting. The real question is whether this new steam deck will be or will not be able to compete with Nintendo. Nevertheless, do note that even though the Dynamic Cloud Sync feature is free to use, it will not available on the device or the game.
The developers would need to combine dynamic cloud save APIs into their game titles and launch an updated version for the steam deck. However, the SteamOS will track players’ progress in their deck.
That said, this new gaming device will surely be pretty interesting. Make sure to stay tuned with us for further updates on the topic.
