Six Invitational 2020 is a yearly esports Rainbow Six Siege tournament organized by Ubisoft and ESL. Headquartered in Montreal, the Ubisoft studio organize the tournament all over the world for the top esports organizations.
This is the first time in two years that a North American team has won a major competitive event.
Spacestation Gaming being one of the finalists from the upper bracket category had 1 map advantage over the Ninjas in Pyjamas who reached from the lower bracket. There were a total of 16 teams in the group stage, fighting for the prize pool of $3,000,000 from which the winner took $1,000,000. Team SoloMid and BDS esport came at the 3rd and 4th position respectively. Rampy was named SiegeGG’s event MVP!
The tournament started with the group stages from Feb 7th-9th,2020 followed by the playoffs from Feb 11th-16th,2020.
After presenting winners the trophy, Ubisoft announced that Rainbow Six Siege tournament will undergo a major change from the coming tournaments. To know more read our next article.
