Sodappopin expressed his opinion on xQc not attending QTCinderella’s ShitCamp – After the recent controversy surrounding xQc canceling his plans to attend ShitCamp 2022 on short notice, fellow streamer Sodapoppin couldn’t come to agree with xQc’s excuse. He further stated that it was “wrong” of the streaming star to bail on QTCinderella’s ShitCamp event after learning he wouldn’t be attending.
Recently, many streamers including HasanAbi, QTCinderella, and even Soda criticized xQc for his last-minute choice to skip Shit Camp. Sodapoppin discussed the Shitcamp issue in the most recent Hatewatchers episode that was streamed live.

The streamer said that he had informed the Shitcamp organizers that he wouldn’t be going. Since he had to stream a specific number of hours of the new World of Warcraft expansion, he had no option but to take this choice.
According to the podcast speaker, xQc supposedly said he wouldn’t be going since Sodapoppin was no longer going. To this, he exclaimed, “But xQc just suddenly didn’t go. That was weird.” “And, in my opinion, it was wrong for him to have done that,” Soda added.
“But, [xQc], just suddenly didn’t go. That was weird. And in my opinion, it was wrong for him to have done that. But it is also like the 50th time he’s done it. So it comes to a point where it’s like, you know what, never expect him to be f**king anywhere he says he’s going to be. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on you, or whatever,” Sodapoppin concluded.
Although xQc first asserted that there just wouldn’t be any good content during Shitcamp, which upset streamers because it appeared to be an insult to QTCinderella and other organizers, it now appears that he may have simply been masking the actual reason. Later, xQc acknowledged that he had a relationship and family problems, though he didn’t elaborate.
No matter the reason that xQc revealed, his first take on the topic indeed bothered many to the extent of criticizing him for his decision.
