A month ago Qualcomm announced Snapdragon Conquest Free Fire Open 2020, one of India’s biggest Free Fire tournament where teams will be battling for a share of the massive prize pool of ₹50,00,000 ( Approx $67,000). Qualcomm will host several esports tournaments throughout the year starting with this tournament. Free Fire is a massive mobile battle royale game in India, the game has a large player base who play the game on daily basis. Free Fire competitive scene in India started in the past couple of years and now it is one of the biggest esports titles in India.
In-game qualifiers and online playoffs of Snapdragon Conquest Free Fire Open 2020 concluded recently and top 18 teams from playoffs moved to league stage of the tournament. League stage is the place where the competition is going to get more difficult. The 18 teams who qualified from the Playoffs will join the 6 invited teams in the League Stage of Snapdragon Conquest Free Fire Open 2020. These 24 teams will be divided into 4 groups and will play 24 matches in the round-robin format. League stage will take place for 4 long weeks where the best of 4 rounds will be played every week.
