The sixth season of the annual professional Rainbow Six Siege tournament hosted by Ubisoft has started. For past years, the event has been taking place in Montreal, the high-end Ubisoft studio developed to work on the game. While the event takes place in Montreal every year, it has been shifted to Paris due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic. There will be no audience at this event and it will be the first major offline Rainbow Six event since the pandemic started.
Initially, the Invitationals were planned to start from February 9th to 21st, 2021. But due to the massive effect of the pandemic around the globe, it shifted from May 11th to 23rd, 2021. This is a closed event where we will see 18 of the 20 qualified rosters play on LAN in the first international competition since the 2020 Invitational.
