Sentinels re-sign star player TenZ for the upcoming 2024 VCT season – Sentinels had a bad performance in the 2023 VCT season. Its team bombed out in the group stage of the VCT Americas and even failed to qualify for the VALORANT Champions 2023. But the organization seems hopeful going forward into the next VCT season. In its latest Twitter post, Sentinels announced that TenZ will be staying with the organization for the coming year.

TenZ is the one of the most recognized faces in the VALORANT community. He has been a part of the Sentinels since its inception and played a definitive role in winning the first-ever international VCT Masters tournament at Reykjavik in 2021. While the Sentinels roster has been restructured a lot since then, TenZ has stayed with the organization.
TenZ had left the active roster temporarily in late April this year. He had COVID and was also suffering from a finger injury which affected his physical performance quite a lot.
Since then, many people have questioned TenZ’s future in the VALORANT scene as his contract with Sentinels was due to expire at the end of 2023. With Sentinels now announcing that they will be keeping TenZ, a lot of fans will heave a sigh of relief.
Except for Jimmy ‘Marved’ Nguyen, all other Sentinels players will be playing for the organization until 2024 according to their contracts.
It seems that the Sentinels squad has decided to move on from their past and start practicing early for the 2024 VCT season. In a recent live stream, TenZ said the team would be start practicing again soon. The team might be getting ready to showcase better results while competing in the VCT off-season tournaments.
