The fifth day of VALORANT Champions Tour Masters 2: Reykjavík in Iceland ended. Sentinels reached the finals, scoring overwhelming scores in both confrontations with Nuturn Gaming and Fnatic. Whereas Team Liquid continued their hopes by defeating Version 1 and Team Vikings, respectively. On the 30th, Nuturn Gaming is scheduled to compete with the winning team in the Fnatic and Team Liquid game for advancing to the finals.
Version1’s VCT dream was Crushed by Fnatic
Fnatic won after a bloody battle between version 1 and overtime. It was a sad defeat for the team. Version 1 suffered a loss in the third game over time, including the previous game. Version 1, who was defeated in the third game overtime, eventually gave up the second set to Fnatic in vain and was eliminated from this tournament.

Team Liquid take down Team Vikings
Team Liquid won the second match between Team Liquid and Team Vikings. Team Liquid was clearly shaken by the offensive of Team Vikings in the first set. However, In the second set, Team Liquid showed off the strength of the strong team in Haven. With a performance that consistently overwhelmed Team Vikings. Vikings were expected to perform well in VCT Masters 2, but they fell short.
Unstoppable Sentinels Advances to Grand Final
In the final match of the day, Sentinels won a set against NUTURN Gaming. Sentinels were favorite from the start of this tournament, on the other hand, NUTURN had struggled their way through Version1 the day before in a three-game series including two overtimes.
NUTURN Gaming will play the winner of Fnatic and Team Liquid in the lower bracket final on May 29th.
