On 22nd March, Pubg Mobile Pro League Thailand got their winners of the group stage which was been played from 14th February. RRQ Athena got the first rank by closely beating the top contender teams like Faze Clan, Illuminate the murder, Mith and many more.
The group stage was a 6-week long league style play, where 24 teams were divided into three groups. A total of 90 matches were played throughout the league out of which 60 matches were played by each team giving them plenty of chances to show their skills.
The prize pool of the group was ฿ 225,000 THB in which a base prize of ฿15,000 THB given every week and increased by ฿15,000 THB every week.
The overall standings were as follows –
Top 16 teams from the group stage have qualified for the finals which are to be held on 27th-29th March 2020.
In the finals, the winning team will qualify for the Pro League World League Spring 2020 – Global Finals. Top 3 teams from the finals will qualify for PMPL Spring SEA Finals with the exception of RRQ Athena who already qualified as the SEA 2019 Fall Split Champion.
Furthermore, due to COVID-19 outbreak the event was changed to Online mode whereas the location got changed to True Digital Park from Bitec Bangna.
