Pysonix has released a new gameplay trailer showcasing the new features coming to Rocket League in the upcoming “animated” Season 6 update. While there is still a lot of stuff to be had, the frantic montage shows off a few items from the game’s revised Rocket Pass, as well as the new playable cyber-punk “Neo Tokyo” comic arena variant, which is currently available on playlists.
The trailer also reveals additional information about Rocket League’s newest automobile addition, “Nomad,” a cross-country van that will be available to drivers instantly after purchasing the premium pass. For this current wave of content, Rocket League Season 6 has added a new, colourful animation theme. One of the most exciting aspects of each new Rocket League season is seeing what unique and eye-catching cosmetic items players will be able to obtain and display. We’ve had a music-themed season, a racing-themed season, a western-themed season, and a space-themed season so far.

There are a lot of incentives and unlockables to be had in Rocket League’s sixth season, with new seasonal competitions and credits moving from season 5. While many of the announced cars aren’t yet in the game, the prospect of adding to their supercar collection should get players thrilled, if not “energetic.”
