HEARTSTEEL will debut with its single titled “PARANOIA.” Riot has revealed that the PARANOIA music video will be released on YouTube on Monday, Oct. 23 at 08:00 AM PT. The audio track will also be available on all major music listening platforms at the same time.
Maria Egan, the Global Head of Music & Events said:
Riot’s virtual artists have been some of the most innovative and beloved music moments for our players. The idea of an all-male band has long been speculated on by fans and we’re so excited to bring this fantasy to life. HEARTSTEEL is a deep collaboration between all our talented in-house creative teams and some incredible new artists. The ethos of HEARTSTEEL is a supergroup of musical soulmates greater than the sum of its parts – a philosophy that our community embodies every day through their dedication to our games.
This is not the first time that Riot will be releasing its own music. Under the Riot Games Music banner, Pentakill, True Damage, and the highly popular virtual K-POP girl group called K/DA have previously been released.
Among them, K/DA has had the most impact with its iconic songs POP/STARS and MORE garnering over 568 million and 193 million views on YouTube. It featured League of Legends champions Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, and Kai’sa. (G)I-dle members Miyeon and Soyeon provide the voices of Ahri and Akali, respectively, Madison Beer voices Evelynn, and Jaira Burns provides the voice of Kai’Sa. Other artists have also given their voices to these characters. Later, another female League champion Seraphine was also added to this group, and her singing voices were provided by Lexie Liu and Jasmine Clarke.
Many League fans are looking forward to the new boy band and are anticipating the release of its debut song. Stay tuned with us to get the latest updates regarding League of Legends and the ongoing Worlds 2023 tournament.
