Riot Games Revealed League of Legends WORLDS 2022 Schedule and Region-Wise Seedings

Riot Games has finally revealed dates and region-wise seedings for the much-awaited WORLDS 2022. This year’s competition will take place throughout North America, with the opening match taking place in Mexico City. Due to COVID difficulties, the Semifinals, which were initially scheduled to take place in Toronto, Canada, will now take place in Atlanta, Georgia’s State Farm Arena.

WORLDS 2022 SCHEdULE

On September 29, the Play-Ins Stage of the competition will begin in the Arena Esports Stadium at Artz Pedregal in Mexico City, Mexico. The Group Stage and Quarterfinals will then take place at the Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden, New York City, after that. Due to COVID difficulties, the Semifinals, which were initially scheduled to take place in Toronto, Canada, will now take place in Atlanta, Georgia’s State Farm Arena.

Finally, the fortunate finalists will compete in the Chase Center in San Francisco, California, for the coveted Worlds trophy. Only the best team will leave its mark on the Worlds’ history here. Below is complete schedule.

• Play-Ins: September 29-October 4 at the Arena Esports Stadium at Artz Pedregal in Mexico City, Mexico;
• Groups: October 7-10 and October 13-16 at the Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden in New York City;
• Quarterfinals: October 20-23 at the Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden in New York City;
• Semifinals: October 29-30 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia;
• Finals: November 5 at Chase Center in San Francisco, California.

LOL WORLDS 2022 REGION-WISE SEEDING:

Teams from all across the world will compete at the Worlds in 2022. There won’t be an equal distribution of spaces among all regions, though. The number of seeds that each region receives is determined by how well they performed in prior international competitions. Consequently, these are the seedings:

• LPL (China): 4 seeds
• LCK (Korea): 4 seeds
• LEC (Europe): 4 seeds
• LCS (North America): 3 seeds
• PCS (South East Asia): 2 seeds
• VCS (Vietnam): 2 seeds
• CBLOL (Brazil): 1 seed
• LJL (Japan): 1 seed
• LLA (Latin America): 1 seed
• LCO (Oceania): 1 seed
• TCL (Turkey): 1 seed
