Riot Games Officially Announced Collaboration with DJ Zedd for Valorant, More Info to Come Soon.
Riot Games revealed their collaboration with Zedd on their official social media pages, and fans will finally be able to view DJ’s surprise in the game tomorrow. Zedd and VALORANT “join together to enhance the volume of something they’ve been impatiently expecting your [Riot] trial,” according to the statement. This most certainly means a new line of Zedd-themed skins is coming, but there could be other surprises as well.
It appears that the teaser will also include a unique launch event, which could imply that a player-friendly in-game event is on the way. Player cards and Zedd-themed trinkets are possible inclusions. It is unknown, however, whether this collaboration involves a weapons package. A special unveiling event is also mentioned in the teaser, which could signal an in-game event is on the way for players to enjoy. Other Zedd-themed items, such as player cards and gun friends, might be included in a hypothetical bundle. However, it’s unclear whether the agreement will result in a full-fledged weapon set. Fans may even hear Zedd’s songs in-game, bringing VALORANT to a new level of entertainment.
Zedd is now regarded as the 24th best DJ in the world. DJs are ranked based on their overall income, social media reach, and fan votes from all over the world. The Grammy winner has also received a slew of other notable nominations and accolades.
