Riot Games Announces League Of Legends 2020 All Star Event

Riot Games has announced League of Legends 2020 All-Star event. The event scheduled to be held during the offseason after the Worlds 2020. All-Star event has a different concept from the Worlds and MSI. Though Worlds 2020 is over and it’s time for some roster changes or locking the old players in the team for next year. Riot is hosting an online event such as Mid- Season Streamathon where players will participate and be highlighted in front of the world, this event will be starting on December 18.

However, this year All-Star event comes with a bit of change as compared to last All-Star events, it will be played online. Best players from all regions will take part in the League of Legends 2020 All-Star event. Riot Games are trying every bit to make this event memorable. The team is trying to make sure that all regions can participate in the event therefore they are pairing up the nearby regions together. They are also trying to host a series of events with the fun-yet- the competitive scenario where a big amount of money will be going to charity.

Let’s know all details of LoL 2020 All-Star

The League of Legends All-Star 2020 will be divided into 2 stages, Superstar Showdown and Underdog Uprising. The SuperStar Showdown will feature the best teams from four major regions, top influencers, former Professional players and the past All-Star winning squad. On the other hand, the Underground Uprising will cover the all best regions such as LPL, LCK, LEC and LCS, where some of the regions merged with their neighbour’s region and attempt to upset the big names.

The League of Legends All-Star 2020 Tournament will take place from December 18 to December 20 where each day will feature different regions. Full Event will be live-streamed on the Twitch channel of Riot Games along with the lolesports.com.

As like past years, League of Legends 2020 All-Star teams will be decided by the fan votes. This time there is a minor change in the process, fans can vote one pro in each role without being region locked.

Voting will take place from November 9  to November 16, teams will take part in the game with a twist. In the end, it will be an entertaining event where we will see our favourite teams, players, influencers battling with each other.
