Leading Southeast Asian esports organization, Rex Regum Qeon as known as RRQ, entered into a new esports title. RRQ announced their roster of the newly launched mobile MOBA game “League of Legends: Wild Rift”. Rex Regum Qeon signed the Wild Rift roster in the Philippines The team will participate in the preseason of the Wild Rift SEA Icon Series.

Why Rex Regum Qeon Signed Wild Rift roster in the Philippines?
Earlier this year, Riot Games has announced the esports plans for Wild Rift in the Philippines. Mineski who will be handling all esports event in the country. Riot Games has announced the prize pool of 10 million Philippines Pesos for the year 2021. This is a huge prize pool for a game that is just building an esports ecosystem. The game is currently in open Beta for multiple regions/countries and not yet released globally.
About Wild Rift SEA Icon Series
Wild Rift Icon Series is a five-weekend long regional competition featuring 52 teams. These 52 teams will participate in seven location-specific tournament circuits during the preseason. After the conclusion of pre season-best teams from all seven regions will get a chance to compete in the Wild Rift Southeast Asia Icon Series: Summer Season. This will be an eight-week long competition where all teams will compete to be the best in the Southeast Asia region. Rex Regum Qeon will participate in the Philippines preseason which is scheduled to start on 20th March 2021.

Rex Regum Qeon was founded in October 2013 by Indonesian DotA players. In 2017 Rex Regum Qeon started expansion into other games. Currently, Rex Regum Qeon has teams in 8 games which includes Free Fire, Apex Legends, PLAYERUNKNOWN’S Battleground, PUBG Mobile. Rex Regum Qeon is not limited to Indonesia now, they have some of the best talents from other countries of the South-East Asia region.
