PUBG update 12.2: New “Taego” map coming to PUBG PC with gulag, self revive and a bunch of new features

PUBG update 12.2 will be here soon with the rumoured 8X8 map “Taego” which was codenamed “Tiger” earlier is coming to PUBG PC and console soon, a teaser on PUBG’s official YouTube channel confirmed the same. This map will be the first 8X8 map after Miramar and if the rumours are to be believed, it will an absolute delight to play. The dates for the release are 7th July for PC and 15th July for the console. Also, we might see the exclusive partnership with Korean soccer player Son Heung-min and pop sensation.

PUBG update 12.2: Features
The new map “Taego” is based on the South Korean landscape this time with the teasers giving us a sneak peek into what it will be like to play it. This is the first map that is this big (8X8) since the launch of Miramar because after Miramar only small maps were launched where the pace of the game was also fast. “Taego” is more similar to Erangel than Miramar as in the trailer we have already seen bushes trees and compounds. We’ve had two only two small teasers from PUBG corporation about the map, so some things are there which can be seen clearly, some of these are.

Gulag

Players who often play battle royale games are familiar with what a gulag is, and this feature has been leaked by IGN on Twitter too, let’s see if it comes with the map.

Larger Airdrops-

“Taego” might bring airdrops with more items inside to make everyone in the looting team happy.

PUBG Update 12.2: Self revive-

This new feature was seen in the teasers whereas it still remains to be seen if it comes with the map or is it a misinterpretation. Due to new game mechanics, we might see some new weapons as well in the upcoming 12.2 update ‘ one is an AR and the other one is possibly a DMR.

New Vehicles-

Some new vehicles were also seen which were identified by some players as Hyundai Pony coupe.

PUBG Update 12.2: Promotional Events:

Partnership with Son Heung-min- Son Heung min is a popular South Korean football player who plays for Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur and also captains his national team. A partnership with this footballer is rumoured for promotional events.

Collab with K-POP band (Blackpink)-

A collaboration with this famous band is also rumoured for some exclusive in-game music. If these rumours turn out to be true it’ll be a treat for both PC and Console gamers as the things coming up are really exciting and not much time is left to wait for it. Let’s see how much attention the new PUBG updates gains from gamers all over the world.
