PUBG New State January Patch: Check out the list of upcoming features in the January update
- New Mode- Battle Royale Extreme
There’s a new mode coming to Troi, BR: Extreme (64) which takes the core experience of Battle Royale and changes it to only 20 minutes and a maximum of 64 survivors. Rather than the larger playable area within Troi, the Battleground in this mode will use a smaller area at random, which will be changed every match.
- New Weapon: PP90
A new SMG can now spawn in the Battlegrounds Care Packages! This weapon comes with a standard tier-2 transformative scope and a suppressor attached, but it can’t be modified. It uses 5.7mm ammo, which will also be added to the Drone Store.
- New Gun Customizations
DP-28 [C2] Muzzle Slot Access – This customization will enable players to mount the DP-28 with a Flash Hider (AR/DMR) or Compensator (AR/DMR). Gun damage, however, will be diminished when these attachments are mounted.
Beryl M762 [C2] Lightweight Stock – Lightweight stocks will decrease bullet spread when firing from the hip or shoulder while increasing ADS speed, but this customization will reduce weapon stability.
- New Actions and Animation Improvements
Sudden Dash – You will be able to break into a sprint while getting up while you are prone for a smoother and faster transition into movement.
Parkour Roll – You can perform a roll to break your fall by tapping the Roll button right before you hit the ground. The roll will improve your chances of sustaining less fall damage, and it can also be performed when exiting from moving vehicles.
- Mode Balance Changes
BR: Original (100) – Overall: Blue Zone’s overall speed will be increased. (Total gameplay time: 90 seconds.) The damage of the Blue Zone from the beginning to mid-game will be increased. There will be an additional 20 seconds of waiting time during the Final Phase. Additionally, the Deployable Shield (Normal) will be removed from the Battlegrounds. Only the Deployable Shield: Wide Type will be available during the Final Phase.
BR: Original (100) – Troi: A small decrease will be made to Drone Credits in Vermont, while Novas will be positioned on main roadways.
