Pubg Mobile Thailand Official announced another national championship for the players of the region. This is another opportunity for amateur teams to showcase their skills and step forward to the path of becoming a professional team. This year the national championship has witnessed a decrease in prize pool as compared to Thailand Championship 2019. The tournament has a prize pool of 700,000 baht for both Solo and Squad event.
Pubg Mobile is one of the best battle royale mobile game that has a large number of the player who aspires to become a professional player. This tournament is purely for amateur and semi-professional teams who can confirm their slot for the upcoming Pubg Mobile Pro League Season 2.
There has been a complete change in the format of the tournament. A total of 1024 solo and 1024 squad teams applications will be accepted by the event organizers.
REGISTRATION
The registration for the solo mode will start from 9th – 14th June 2020. Click Here to register. Whereas you can apply for the squad mode here.
FORMAT
A total of 1024 teams will be divided into 4 zones – Erangel, Sanhok, Miramar, Vikendi, 256 teams for each zone. The complete tournament will be played in the TPP mode.
The players need to register according to the zones and regions specified below. However, Team registration Will be divided by regional zones but not necessarily in that region.
- Erangel – Central Region
- Sanhok – South
- Miramar – Eastern
- Vikendi – North
Each zone will consist of 16 groups with 16 teams in it.
QUALIFYING ROUND
Each team will play 5 matches on the maps – Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, Vikendi, Erangel. Top 2 teams from each group will qualify to the next round.
SEMIFINAL ROUND
A total of 32 teams will compete in this round. Where each team will play 5 matches on the maps – Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, Vikendi, Erangel. Top 7 teams from each group will advance to the final round.
FINAL
The final round will have 5 matches that will be played on Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, Vikendi, Erangel. There will be 2 invited teams from PMPL Season 1 coming to compete in each zone. The names of the invited teams have not been announced by the Pubg Mobile Indonesia. Top 3 teams from each zone will advance to the grand finals event.
GRAND FINALS
A total of 16 teams will play in the grand finals out of which 12 teams from squad mode and 4 teams from solo mode will play 15 matches.
Top 8 ranked teams will get the opportunity to compete in the Season 2 of Pubg Mobile Pro League.
The complete tournament will be live-streamed on the official YouTube channel of Pubg Mobile Indonesia and Pubg Mobile Esports.
