The latest version of Pubg Mobile got into trouble over “Ideal Worshiping” in the new mode “Mysterious Jungle” of the game. The developers of the game got warned by a number of Kuwaiti preachers for “distressing gesture” in the mode. The trouble raised when the players could be seen worshipping in front of an Ideal. In response to that, the players get health, energy, repair helmets/vests, and even receive items. These items included health kits, weapons, energy drinks, and more.
To let you know to worship any ideal is banned in Islam which is the root cause of the problem. Dr Bassam Al Shatti, Professor of faith at the College of Sharia, Kuwait University, says video games feature many pros and cons, but PUBG has violated Islamic beliefs regarding prostration and bowing to idols, and this is the greatest sin in Islam because prostrating and bowing is worship and glorification solely and exclusively to Almighty Allah.
In response to this matter Tencent Games, the developer of the game stated “We are deeply sorry that some features in the game have offended some of our players. We respect the values, traditions and practices of our players and regret the hurt and anguish that we’ve caused. We have removed the distressing gesture and are removing the relevant visuals.”
Though Tencent announced, only the removal of the gesture and idol visuals will be done but the new mode is now not available in the global version.
