PUBG MOBILE – India Today announces invitational tournament

India Today a leading English language news magazine in India has entered into the Pubg Mobile esports scene with the announcement of invitational tournament. The India Today League Invitational 2020 esports tournament for PUBG Mobile is scheduled from April 23 to 26 will see some of the best professional and semi-professional teams from across India that will compete for a massive prize pool of 250,000 INR.

It will be a 4-day event scheduled to be streamed on the official channel of India Today Gaming on YouTube. A total of 16 matches will be played in total in 4 days making it 4 matches for each of the days. The matches will take place in all the maps of the game i.e. Erangel, Vikendi, Miramar and Sanhok.

The distribution of the prize pool has not been revealed yet by them but we will get some more information regarding the tournament before 23 April.

About India Today Gaming

This tournament is not the first venture of India Today into esports gaming. India Today and Garena together launched the biggest Free Fire Battle Royale League in India last year. The Free Fire India Today League saw more than 30,000 teams registering for the tournament. The qualifiers of the first-of-its-kind league were held over 15 days during which teams battled in over 100 Free Fire matches. The prize pool of the league was 35 lakh in which Team Nawabzade won the title and 8.5 lakh. The team represented India in a global tournament called the Free Fire World Series.
