PUBG Mobile hints at the return of the Vikendi map in their latest Social media post: The famous snowy terrain map called Vikendi, was removed from PUBG Mobile officially to replace it with the new Karakin map. The Karakin map was rumored to feature in the game for a very long time.
Finally, on the 7th of April 2021, Tencent announced that Vikendi will be replaced with the new Karakin map. Some fans were disappointed with this decision and wanted the Vikendi map in the game as well. Today PUBG Mobile has dropped a small hint for Vikendi map lovers regarding the return of the map maybe?

You can check out PUBG Mobile’s post above, where they have clearly hinted something regarding the Vikendi map. The picture is the snowy terrain of the Vikendi map which also features the fan-favorite UAZ car and the famous m416 gun. The post asks its fans that, “Which is the most difficult terrain to fight on in PUBGM?”.
The developer wants to know whether you have been a victim of driving into trees, rocks, houses, or have been killed by sneaky campers lying in the grass. The comment section of this post is full of fans saying that they want the Vikendi map back!
According to leaks and reports, the Vikendi map is going to be revived to the game soon. It is suspected that Vikendi 2.0 will feature in the game along with PUBG Mobile 1.6 patch update. The Vikendi 2.0 map was apparently pushed back because of the PUBG Mobile 1.5 Ignition update. There has been no news about the Karakin map being removed with the launch of Vikendi 2.0.
However, the Vikendi 2.0 news is also not “officially confirmed” yet by the developers. We must wait and watch to hear news regarding it officially from the developers soon.
