PUBG Mobile 1.6 Update Release Date: Vikendi 2.0, New features, and more. After the success of the PUBG Mobile 1.5 Ignition update, Krafton is all set to the 1.6 Update release date. Currently, the beta version of the 1.6 updates has been released for Android devices. Like the previous update, tons of new content including Vikendi 2.0 will be introduced in the 1.6 update version of the game.
There are many features added and coming back to the PUBG Mobile 1.6 update.
- Return of the Vikendi 2.0 Map
Krafton is bringing back the Vikendi map which they took down in the PUBG Mobile 1.3 update. PUBG Mobile Vikendi 2.0 map will be released with this 1.6 update.
- Introducing the new gameplay mode called Flora Menace
Like the previous update, Krafton is bringing a new mode called Flora Menace which will features abilities like Cell-Matrix, Rejuvenation Barrier, and Dynahex Supplies.

- Relaunching the Evo ground Modes
In the 1.6 update, various modes that were removed are coming back to the game. Players always liked to play the Infection mode so the developers are bringing it back. Also, the Payload 2.0 mode and Survive Till Dawn will be seen returning in this update.
- New Highlight Moments Settings
This feature will be seen in the settings by the name of Highlight Moments which when enabled, automatically recorded the gameplay of the players which can be later viewed in the results.
Various things will be added and optimized in the update
- New punch animation
- Hit effect optimization
- Quad Bike
- Realistic and better graphics
- New damage color
- New crosshair colors
- 2x Anti-Aliasing
- Control Optimization
All these features will be soon launched in the 1.6 update that is expected to release on 14th September 2021. Before the official release, players can experience these features by playing the beta version of the 1.6 update.
