Tencent Games has announced that it will release the PUBG Mobile 0.18.0 update on May 7. The main update this time is the addition of a new map Miramar 2.0. The next PUBG Mobile update, which is going to be version 0.18.0 will be coming up with additional features such as Scoped Winchester 94, P90 SMG, Canted Sight and much more.
The update will also bring in all of the necessary changes for season 13, which will kick off at a later date. Season 12 is going to come to an end soon.
MAD MIRAMAR
Miramar is the biggest map in the game expand over 8*8 Km area. There will be some addition to some actions throughout the map. There will be various areas on the map that will have abandoned parts of a race track. You can take your vehicles for a spin through the remains which include some ramps and pathways to show your driving skills. There are some new areas on the map including a new water town that could be called Oasis. Then there is a new city and a Ruins area on the map for you to explore as well where there will be good loots for all.
In the recent beta update of the game, the entire map will be covered with a sandstorm limiting your visibility. There will also be certain areas on the map that will have heavy sandstorms where visibility is going to be extremely limited, that would make it difficult for the players to search enemies near the players. There will be special loot crates in these storms.
SCOPED WINCHESTER 94
This feature is already added in the PC version of the game. The Winchester or the Win94 will be getting a built-in scope with the upcoming update just as like we get in VSS gun. This will be a 2.7x scope making the gun a bit more usable allowing players to use it as a mid-range sniper.
P90 SMG
There is an addition of a new gun in the SMG section of the game. The gun can load up to 50 ammo in a single clip and can support attachments like muzzles, sights, and foregrips. P90 SMG is being added in Arena Mode, there is no news of its addition to the classic mode in this update.
GOLDEN MIRADO
This will be one of a kind car added into the vehicles list. But the rate of the spawn of this vehicle will be rare. If you will be a lucky player, you could ride that golden version of the Mirado.
Some more changes in the update will be the addition of Canted sight and the option of auto equipping scopes to your guns, new and improved bullet marks, and the ability to copy your control layout from FPP to TPP and vice versa.
