PUBG Esports Announces PUBG Global Invitational Series 2021

PUBG Esports announced PUBG Global Invitational Series 2021 which will take place in South Korea. PUBG Global Invitational Series 2021 has 32 invited teams who will be competing in a 2-month long event. PUBG has planned to start 2021 with a bang, they officially released the list of all invited teams who will take part in the event. These Invitational teams come across Europe, Southeast Asia, China, South Korea, Chinese Taipei, Japan, North America, and Latin America.

It is still not clear that all team in the list will be competing in the PUBG Global Invitational Series 2021 as PUBG Corporation has yet not released any confirmation regarding the team’s invitation acceptance. So there is the possibility, we might see a few changes in the tournament. PUBG Corp. has sent invitations to the teams after reviewing their performance in entire 2020 competitive season and overall career in the PUBG Esports.

As the event is scheduled to start from February 2, all 32 teams will travel out to South Korea to compete in the LAN environment. As per government guidelines, all teams have to go through 14 days of the quarantine period. The event will be 8 weeks long where 32 teams will battle for the prize pool of $3.5 million USD. There will be also PUBG Global Invitational Series Pick’em challenge where 30% of revenue share will the prize pool and teams.
