On 2022 October 3, the news of their collaboration with Dead by Daylight was shared to the public via their official Twitter handle of PUBG Battleground where they mentioned ‘something terrific is waiting this spooky October.’ October is the celebration month of Halloween. Gaming companies never fail to squeeze every ounce of this opportunity to introduce fresh stuff into the industry. At the same time, gamers and audiences take different tolls to surprise each other. However, further add-on details concerning the collaboration are yet to be revealed in the upcoming days.

Before the release of this collaboration with PUBG Battlegrounds, Dead by Daylight had done numerous collaborations earlier with games like Fortnite, Attack on Titan, and For Honour. Last Halloween, For Honour players, were given a taste of Dead by Daylight in a limited-time mode called “Survivors of the frog”, which featured one of dead by Daylight’s iconic killers, The trapper, in a 4v4 PVP game mode, had been a thrilling experience to enjoy.
Similarly, PUBG was not lacking behind in bringing hot collaboration to the plate. With Dragon Ball Z teaming up with PUBG to celebrate the global launch of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, a successful movie, is all set to drop the collaboration in 2023. A major part of the collab incorporates in-game cosmetics and some dragon ball-themed map changes. Likewise, the PUBG Battleground X Dead by Daylight collaboration is expected to launch map changes and in-game cosmetics.
