Streaming star, Pokimane who is always vocal about any such issues emerging on Twitch appears shocked at the amount of drama taking place on the purple platform.
Last week has been a really happening one on Twitch, starting from heated debates among the community members and streamers following a gambling scam by the streamer Slicker. After demanding effective actions from the platform, Twitch decided to start banning streamers from October 18 for broadcasting dice or slot machine games from gambling websites that aren’t US-licensed or don’t offer “sufficient consumer protection.
Recently, Pokimane pointed out that it’s time she stays away from Twitch drama and instead focuses on creating quality content. This comes after another important news broke on the Internet. And this time, a popular Twitch streamer, Mizkif is currently leaving OTK, the organization he co-founded, over claims that he covered up allegations of sexual assault against another broadcaster. Also, the new 70/30 subscriber revenue split on Twitch has made streamers upset.

In one of the latest live streams on Twitch, Pokimane explained that as the drama intensifies, she is starting to distance herself from some of her fellow creators., “I don’t really know how to answer people that are asking me about my thoughts on anyone, or if I’m homies with certain people or whatever,”
“To be honest with you, at this point I’m appalled by so many things. I just don’t wanna be involved in anything, really. I wanna be homies with my OTV friends and stream sometimes and vlog and post s**t, but the Twitch scene, it’s a lot. Jesus Christ,” she added.
Amidst these ongoing controversies, Pokimane expresses the need to focus more on content creation rather than getting involved in them. Despite the fact that her fans enjoy listening to what Poki has to say, they would prefer to see new content than anything else.
