Pokimane was accused of using a racial slur after a trimmed clip of her goes viral – After a trimmed clip of Pokimane saying “like who asked?” goes viral with several retweets and comments pouring in to justify the incident thereafter, she has been accused of using a racial slur.
Although Pokimane did not use the n-word but cropping a clip of her that says “like who asked?” made it look different than it really was. This is clear when the clip is not trimmed to the exact point it has been, numerous times, on social media, because Pokimane says “Like… like who asked?” By trimming out the first “like”, the “like who” is, admittedly, easily misheard as a racial slur.

The video clarifies that there was no proper usage of any racial slur and that it has been trimmed very smartly to give a completely different outlook to the viewers, which they succeeded. Pokimane used the term “like” and not the ‘n-word’. After saying “like” at the beginning of the sentence, she completes her thought with “like who asked”, which makes the sentence “like……. like who asked?”
Female streamer witch hunt result of the misleading clip: The 14-second-long clip resulted in countless tweets, from both small and big accounts, including some streamers, confidently proclaiming that Pokimane had brazenly used the n-word.
