Pokimane unwilling to venture into the skincare industry amidst the ‘Maya Snack’ launch – Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys, recently made headlines with the launch of her own company, ‘Myna Snacks.’ However, when asked about the prospect of following in the footsteps of YouTuber ‘Valkyrae’ and delving into the skincare industry, Pokimane revealed her preference.
In the realm of gaming and streaming, the trend of influencers venturing into entrepreneurial waters has become increasingly prevalent. In a recent interview, Pokimane addressed the idea of launching a skincare line similar to Valkyrae’s controversial RFLCT line.

While acknowledging the abundance of marketing opportunities at her disposal, Pokimane expressed concerns about saturating the market. “My goal is not to launch as many products as I can or make as much money as I can,” she explained. “It’s really about being super intentional with what I bring to market, not just because something might sell with my name behind it, but because I think the product is that great.”
The company’s inaugural product, Midnight Mini Cookies, was unveiled after two years of meticulous development. However, she ran into controversy with her snack launch as many claimed it was a copy. Going further she clarified that the ingredient list of the alleged copy snack may look similar but it is actually different.

While Pokimane remains open to future ventures, she emphasized the importance of taking her time and ensuring that any new product aligns with her values and standards. “Maybe in five years, I’ll think of something else,” she added, hinting at the possibility of diversifying Myna Snacks’ offerings in the future.
Fans eagerly await the announcement of Myna Snacks’ next creation. Pokimane’s hesitation to enter the skincare arena echoes a commitment to authenticity and mindful business practices in an industry often driven by trends and rapid expansion.
