Pokimane opened up about her treatment after sharing an image of the procedure – Twitch streaming star Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys is known for sharing all details relating to her personal life, be it mental health issues or physical health with her fans. Recently, she discussed an “intensive” treatment she had received to realign her jaw position as well as providing an update on her health.
The Moroccan-Canadain streamer started her Twitch career in 2015 and amassed a huge fan following of more than 9 million on the purple platform over the years. In one of her recent live streams, she discussed in detail the treatment she had undergone at the orthodontist’s chamber. She revealed that the orthodontist had advised her to undertake some procedures because her jaw posture wasn’t perfect.

Talking about the treatment, she said, “They attached a TENS unit, you know, the shocking stuff that Michael uses. They attached that to my face, and then they shocked my face for 40 minutes!” Pokimane shared a photo of herself holding a sizable surgical instrument on her head and explained: “They attached me to this contraption. Look at him. They attached me to a contraption that measured the intensity of my muscles, in my face, when they’re being used, as I’m doing normal things.”
The streamer spoke about the entire procedure and concluded by stating, “So, yeah. They aligned it with this thing, and they were like, ‘Okay, now we’re going to test your jaw, and then the muscles, if they were being used a lot less,’ so they’re like, ‘Okay, this is good. This is where your jaw should be, and now we’re going to do all this stuff, to try and get it permanently,’ if that makes sense. All this s**t, bro.”
Many of Poki’s fans expressed concern about her but were relieved as she was in safe hands. She has recently returned to streaming after five-day long hiatus, and now the news of her treatment took fans by surprise.
