Pokimane is extending her return on Twitch, she wants to spend more time with family. In a decision announced today, Twitch streamer Imane “Pokimane” Anys will extend her break from streaming. Her previous announcement stated that she was using her time off to focus on her mental and physical health. According to Pokimane’s tweet, she feels “very lucky” and blessed to be able to work during a period of such economic decline as this has left millions of people unemployed. As a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, many people around the world have been stressed, and Pokimane’s break may help others to take similar measures for their mental health.

Pokimane has spent all this time at the family home in Canada. According to her plan, she will return to Los Angeles in order to resume streaming. A recent tweet, however, informed her fans she was enjoying her time back at home so much that she had extended her stay.
Soon after, the Twitch star admitted, “I needed this.”.The return of Pokimane’s Twitch stream will take place on September 8 rather than at the beginning of September. Her break has been extended by a week, which means fans will not be able to see her in action for a while.
On August 22, Pokimane went live on Twitch for the last time. Pokimane ended her stream by explaining it would be “good to get away from the computer for a while”. Additionally, she teased major plans for September. According to Anys, “This is going to be an exciting and fun month.”. There will be a few things coming out that I think you’ll like.
