Pokimane: In spite of receiving many offers from esports organizations, Pokimane has rejected each one. Pokimane shares that she has gotten “a lot” of offers from esports and gaming organizations to leave OfflineTV. However, she keeps saying no because of one very important reason. Streamers are currently joining eSports organizations in droves. In particular, 100 Thieves has been snagging content creators left and right, most recently signing TinaKitten and Fuslie.

At org, there are a lot of streamers on the payroll. There are several big stars on TSM, including Myth and Doublelift. Last week, NRG unveiled Daequan and Hamlinz, who finally returned from the cold after a year away. Chess sisters Alexandra and Andrea Botez signed with Envy. Many Twitch stars have inked deals with gaming companies, but it’s rarely mentioned on their channel layouts, even celebrities like Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel.
Twitch streamer Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys isn’t interested in signing a major contract with esports organizations regardless of the “a lot of offers” she has received from them. Soon after TinaKitten announced her big move on September 16, the Twitch star brought up the topic of orgs (and her ambivalence towards joining one). While Pokimane expressed her happiness for her friend, she later flatly denied she would be moving to 100 Thieves or anywhere else in the near future.
Pokimane: In spite of receiving many offers from esports organizations, Pokimane has rejected each one
As she put it: “I have received several offers from organizations, but I was never sure if I wanted to accept them. It’s not like I didn’t get offers during my come-up. But I don’t want to be under another company. Look, I don’t know. I just want to be me. No one should tell me how to live my life or what to do. Is it necessary for every creator to belong to an organization? Most organizations seem to lowball the talents of creators. I understand their lack of interest in branding.”
In previous interviews, Pokimane revealed that she received org offers when she began to dominate the Twitch scene. Despite this, the answer has remained the same: “No.” I have been offered numerous times. Years and years have passed. There are many teams. However, I’m on OfflineTV. OfflineTV is something we created. I am concerned that joining a team will dilute my brand. The OTV brand would also be diluted if this were to happen.
The thought of spreading myself too thin would make me feel overwhelmed. It is important to me to commit myself one hundred percent to anything I do. Nothing in my life should be incomplete for me.” Now that Pokimane has decided not to go with external offers, it appears that she will stick with OfflineTV instead of going with any other organization
