Pokimane decides to remain on Twitch and she is giving away a Tesla for this occasion- As one of the most popular female streamers, Pokimane’s streaming journey is a huge thing for her fans and other viewers who watch her online. When she announced that her contract with Twitch ended on 31st January, there was a lot of speculation regarding which platform she will be on. Finally, she has announced her platform for her streaming career along with a surprise gift for one of her lucky fans.
On 9th February, Pokimane took to Twitter to announce that she will be staying on the Twitch TV platform. She tweeted, “About that platform announcement…Instead of choosing between a red or purple car, I’M GIVING ONE AWAY, and as always twitch.tv/pokimane.” She wore a purple sweater to symbolize her continued collaboration with Twitch. Her announcement of giving away a Tesla car has also brought in many hilarious responses from her friends and fans.

Pokimane remains a part of Twitch even after being mired in controversies lately
Before her contract expired, Pokimane had come under various controversies against other streamers on the platform. It all started when Jidion asked his viewers to raid Pokimane’s live stream chat which soon spiralled out of control. Hence, Pokimane was forced to end her Valorant stream early at that time. She took to Twitter to express her disappointment regarding the harassment that female streamers receive.
The controversy did not end here as soon she had to deny various allegations thrown at her from other popular streamers like on-stream drug abuse. There were also some leaked images that showed that Pokimane may be receiving legal actions filed against her by Ninja and his wife. All of these were simple rumors that Pokimane had quickly addressed to remove any further misconceptions.
While many of her fans thought that she might be considering switching to YouTube Gaming after all these fiascoes, they were incorrect. Pokimane’s love and support for Twitch can be seen as she has decided to continue her streaming journey here.
