Her content varies around gaming, vlogs, cosplay, or simply chatting with her friends or viewers. Since she renewed her contract with Twitch last year, Pokimane’s new curly hair look has gained quite a lot of attraction. Unfortunately, it also brings in criticism from some of her viewers who do not like her new look.
In one of her recent streams, a Twitch viewer criticized her curly hair look. Pokimane did not take it in standing and clapped back saying to “take it up with God” since it is her natural look.

On 25th March, Pokimane was streaming on Twitch and chatting with her live audience. One of them commented in the chat that she “don’t look good in curly hair.” Pokimane did not find it appropriate for others to criticize her on their natural looks. Thus, she slapped back at the viewer with a long response.
She told, “You know, if you feel that way, you should take it up with God, bro. You should tell him, ‘You shouldn’t have made her this way,’ and maybe he’ll have some arguments for you. But for me, b*tch, I just look like this. I take a shower, and this is how I look, so yeah. Don’t tell me. Take it up with him. Do a little prayer. Talk to God, not me! And you know what? If you ever see someone and they don’t like a feature that they have, take it up with God, don’t tell them! What the f**k are they gonna do. Get plastic surgery for your ass? No!”
This is not the first time that one of her viewers has criticized Pokimane on her live streams. Back in October 2020, she was told that she appeared “kind of chubby.” To this, she had replied, “Does that say more about me or you?” Although Pokimane tries to brush off such criticisms, sometimes it does hurt her to constantly be attacked for her appearance.
