Pokémon UNITE World Championship 2023: Schedule, Qualified Teams, Format, and More- The Pokémon UNITE World Championship 2023 is going to be held in Yokohama, Japan. Teams that have qualified from each regional zone will be participating in this tournament in order to be crowned as the world champions. Here is everything you need to know about it.
Schedule and Prizepool
The 2023 Pokémon UNITE World Championship will be held on Aug. 11 and 12. The tournament has a total prize pool of $500,000 USD.
GROUPS AND TEAMS
A total of 31 teams have qualified for the World Championship 2023. The teams and their respective groups are:
- Group A: Hoenn, PERÚ, Secret Ship, Team 3 Stars
- Group B: EXO Clan, Nouns Esports, Orangutan, Rex Regum Qeon
- Group C: 00 Nation, IClen, Oyasumi Macro, Talibobo Believers
- Group D: Agjil, Amaterasu, Brasil, FUSION
- Group E: Mjk, Team Peps, TeamMYS, TTV
- Group F: OMO Abyssinian, STMN Esports, Team YT, UD Vessuwan
- Group G: Luminosity Gaming, S8UL Esports, Team Tamerin, TimeToShine
- Group H: Entity7, FS Esports, Kumu

Format
The tournament will have two stages:
- Group Stage
- There will be 31 teams in the group stage.
- There will be seven groups with 4 teams each and one group with 3 teams.
- This stage will follow the single round-robin bracket format.
- All matches played in this stage will be best-of-3 series.
- In the end, only the top team from each group will qualify for the Playoffs.
- Playoffs Stage
- This stage will follow a double-elimination format.
- All matches in this stage will be best-of-3 series except the finals. The Grand Finals will be played in the best-of-5 series with a bracket reset.
