Pokemon UNITE: Goodra will be the next addition to the Pokemon UNITE roster –Â There is a lot of new content coming to Pokemon UNITE this year. We already saw the introduction of Zacian in the game during Pokemon Day on Feb. 27. Now, the upcoming Pokemon that will be added to the roster has also been confirmed. Goodra, a melee defender Pokemon will be the upcoming addition to UNITE.

Goodra’s name was leaked on Feb. 9 when it was added to the Public Test server. Dataminers also leaked the gameplay of Goodra in Pokemon UNITE. Today, the dev team has also officially confirmed Goodra’s addition through a Twitter post.
If we look at Goodra’s leaked gameplay, we can see that the Dragon-type Defender is quite good in its role. At level 1, we see it in its first-form Goomy. This slimy Pokemon’s first ability is a shield that can burst and deal small AoE damage on the second cast. Its second ability is a dash that can knock up enemy Pokemons if it hits them. The passive of the Pokemon allows it to heal itself in bushes every few seconds.
Goomy evolves into Sliggoo when it reaches level 5. It is now a Snail Pokemon and players get to choose to upgrade its first ability. On reaching level 8, Sliggoo evolves into Goodra and players can also upgrade its second ability.
On reaching level 9, Goodra’s UNITE move unlocks. Using this move provides Goodra with a significant buff. It gives the Pokemon a large shield as well as increases its attack and movement speed.
