During the 2023 Pokémon Day broadcast, a trailer regarding this Pokémon spin-off game was revealed. From what we see in the video, the idea behind the game is to get your sleep back on track and catch some Pokémons while doing so.
This game was announced back in 2019. No updates were provided in the past 4 years, making it have an uncertain future. But finally, we have got a release scheduled for the game. Pokémon Sleep will be released in the summer of 2023, with the exact date to be revealed in the coming months.
what is Pokemon sleep?
In Pokémon Sleep, players can track their sleep cycle by using this game app and recording when they sleep and wake up. In between this time, the user will encounter a Snorlax. Depending on their type of sleep, Professor Neroli will categorize it into dozing, snoozing, and slumbering. Each choice has its own Pokémon species that users will be able to unlock over time.
The Pokémon Sleep app will integrate with Pokémon Go using the new device Pokémon Go Plus+. It is an upgrade over the existing original Pokémon Go Plus. This new device will be released on July 14. The user data shared between these apps will help players help catch new Pokémons.
So ready your bed and pillows if you want to catch new Pokémons while you have a good night’s sleep.
