With another successful year of the game, full of events and rewards, together we will be celebrating the ‘Fifth Anniversary’ of Pokemon Go with The Season of Discovery featuring Go Fest 2021 too.
The last event, Season of Legendry, was a huge success, many useful rewards were unlocked and many legendary pokemon were in the raid. This season of Discovery will make you encounter new pokemon that are yet to appear in the game. Excited? Why not, this event will last a month, starting from Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time to Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Okay, so now, without wasting any more time, let’s give you the gist of everything that will be taking place in the game while this event.
Pokemon making a debut in Legendary & Mega Raids
Well, it is revealed that the three legendary titans, RegiRock, Regice, RegiSteel will be available in five-star raids. But a new, legendary pokemon will come as a surprise and it is yet to be revealed. Even the Mega raids will be having some change as at a time only one pokemon will be appearing in the mega raids. Well, Niantic tried to keep this a secret but we are speculating on ‘Mega Slowbro’, in mega raids for the start.
Different Pokemon In The Wild
This is something nostalgic. When the game was newly launched, the spawns were as per biome. Like you might find water-type pokemon near water bodies. This season ‘Hemisphere-specific pokemon’ will spawn. For your elaboration, different Pokemon will spawn in cities, grass type mons in the forest, rock type in mountains, and water type near water bodies. This is will really make the hunt exciting.
Changed Egg Pool
Pokemon that will hatch from the eggs have been changed. Now you might hatch
- Meditite, Buizel, Spritzee, Swirlix, and more will be hatching from 2 km Eggs.
- Togepi, Gligar, Skarmory, Bonsly, and more will be hatching from 5 km Eggs.
- Timburr, Rufflet, Goomy, Noibat, and more will be hatching from 10 km Eggs.
- Cranidos, Shieldon, Skrelp, Clauncher, and more will be hatching from 5 km Eggs earned from Adventure Sync rewards.
- Bagon, Beldum, Gible, Riolu, and more will be hatching from 10 km Eggs earned from Adventure Sync rewards.
Well, these were some basic yet important things for you to know. Along with them, new tasks and rewards are added to the pokestop research. The research breakthrough throughout June will reward 2x XP and a remote raid pass. Niantic never fails to lure its trainers with rewards and this season too is going to be an exciting one.
