The prize pool for PMWI 2022 is $3 million, and it will be hosted in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from August 11 to August 20. This tournament is divided into 2 weeks: Main Event (Week 1) and Afterparty Showdown (Week 2). Format of PMWI 2022
PMWI 2022 will be the first worldwide LAN tournament staged since December 2019. This worldwide event will be organized by PUBG Mobile in collaboration with ESL and Gamers8, with Sony XPERIA serving as the official smartphone partner. The tournament is divided into two weeks:
The Main Event (Week 1)
During the first week, from August 11 to 13, 18 invited teams will play. 18 teams will compete across three maps (Classic game style) for a USD 2 million prize fund.
After Party Showdown (Week 2)
The Afterparty Showdown will take place from the 18th to the 20th of August. A fresh structure will be employed as 12 teams compete. The top five teams from Week 1, six teams from the designated area, and one special invite complete the 12-team lineup. For this week the prize money will be USD 1 million.

The invited teams from the specified locations will be picked via PUBG Mobile’s in-game voting system. The voting procedure will include five regions: America, South Asia, Middle East &Africa, Europe, and Southeast Asia. The team with the most votes in a certain region will be invited to the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022 After Party Showdown. The in-game vote will take held from July 8th to 10th, 2022.
All matches will be live-streamed on the PUBG Mobile Esports channels on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch. On each match day, the action will begin at 11 a.m. GMT.
