The most favorite game in the mobile era the PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile once again made headlines today after the announcement of the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2021 starting from July 22nd, 2021 and ending on July 25th, 2021.

The popularity of PUBG Mobile continues to rise since its launch. Many records have already been broken by the title in terms of revenue and download. Several tournaments around the world have drawn millions of viewers to the esports scene for the title. PUBG Mobile has seen the expansion of esports, so many sponsors and organizers are bringing in new tournaments with huge prize pools, allowing the best players to display their skills.
The audience has witnessed a similar event last year with a charity prize pool of $1.5 Million. EMEA and South Asia were the two regions where the event was organized. Various NGOs and organizations received revenue from that event to assist in the fight against COVID-19. The tournament was won respectively by Godlike Esports from South Asia and Team 1218 from the EMEA region.
PMWI 2021: PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2021: Prize pool, Streaming, and Schedule
The event was announced today by Tencent on socials handles of PUBG Mobile. The overall prize pool for the tournament is $3 Million of which maximum will be donated to the socio-economic causes happening around the world. The Gamers without Borders have collaborated with Tencent for the event. The event is scheduled from July 22nd to July 25th.
32 professional teams around the world will be fighting for a title and trying hard to make their country proud. The other partners for events include popular smartphone brand Oneplus and popular Gaming/Streaming platform NimoTV. All the matches will be streamed on NimoTV as part of their collaboration. It is still arguable whether teams from India will be invited or not as Battlegrounds Mobile India or Indian PUBG does not support cross-server play.
