PUBG Mobile has announced the list of 20 teams that would be competing in the upcoming PUBG Mobile Pro League – Season 1: Arabia Regular Season. The best teams from all over the Arabia region will be joining this league stage to make their way into the PMPL Arabia Finals. The 3-week long league stage will be starting from 17th May to 6th June 2021.
QUALIFICATIONS
Out of the participating 20 teams, 11 teams got invitation whereas 9 teams qualified through various PMCO’s held in different regions.

FORMAT
The league stage comprising of two stages: weekdays and super weekends.
Weekdays (Equal matches each week)
- Round-robin Format: Each team plays a total of matches in a week, every Tuesday & Wednesday.
- The top 16 teams qualify for the Super Weekend
Super Weekend (Equal matches each week)
- Single lobby Format: 16 Teams play a total of matches in a week, every Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
Only the points of each Super Weekend are cumulated towards league standings. The top 16 teams based on Super Weekend points will qualify for Finals. The top 5 teams in the PMPL Arabia finals will be further seeded into the PMPL EMEA. More details about this event will be out soon.
It is believed that PMPL Arabia would be witnessing massive numbers in terms of viewership. Due to the invitation slot given to Galaxy Racers, whose players are based in India. This is the first time in a while when Indian fans would be watching one of their favourite teams back in esports competition. The event will be broadcasted live on the official YouTube channel of PUBG Mobile Esports MENA.
