The last professional event of the Pubg Mobile Pro League Americas ended with Loops Esports placing at the first position. The team has booked their slot for the upcoming World League West starting from July 10th 2020.
PMPL Americas had a slight change in the format as compared to the other regions. All PMPL regions had league stage and finals whereas PMPL Americas had only finals where 20 teams played a total of 80 matches in 3 weeks. The prize pool of the tournament was $200,000.
Loops Esports dominated throughout the league by taking the maximum number of kill and position points with respect to any other team. Along with the number one position the team won $55,500 prize money. X-Quest Gaming and B4 Esports came 2nd and 3rd respectively. Carrilho from Loops Esports became the MVP of the league with avg damage and kill of 365.7 and 1.8 respectively.
8 TEAMS QUALIFIED FOR WORLD LEAGUE
According to the Pubg Mobile World League format, top 8 teams of the PMPL Americas qualified for the West. The teams are as follows – Loop Esports, X-Quest Gaming, B4 Esports, Cloud9 Mobile, Wildcard Gaming, Team Queso, Tempo Storm and Pittsburgh Knights.
A total of 20 teams will be competing in the upcoming PMWL West those are a mixture of the teams from America, Europe, MEA and Africa. The prize pool for the event announced is $425,000. Here is the list of teams –

Some big names like Omen Elite, Tribe Gaming could not qualify for the World League. But the teams could start fresh in the recently announced PMCO Fall Split 2020 whose registration has begun from June 24th 2020.
