The top 16 teams from the PMGC league stages will advance to the finals. The League Stage and the Grand Finals will be split up into two different events for PMGC 2022 in November. 51 teams from all around the world will compete in the renowned PMGC 2022 for PUBG Mobile. The total prize pool has decreased from $6 million to $4 million compared to the 2021 competition.

PMGC league stages will be divided into three parts Group stages, Survival stages, and Last chance. The PMGC League will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with an all-new and exciting format that is divided into three parts: Group Stage, Survival Stage, and Last Chance.

- Group Stage – 10th November to 27th November
In the group stage, all 48 teams are divided into three subgroups, Groups A, B, and C. Each group contains 16 teams, and over the course of four days, these teams will compete against one another in a round-robin format. The top 3 teams from each group will automatically advance to the finals at the end of day 4, while the remaining 8 teams from each group will go to the Survival round, and the bottom 5 teams will be eliminated.
- Survival stage – 30th November to 2nd December
For three days, 24 teams will battle in the survival stage, all 24 teams are qualified for the Group stage. This round will feature participants from each Group stage group, and the top 16 teams from the points standings on Day 3 will advance to the Last Chance stage.
- Last Chance – 3rd -4th December
The top 16 teams from the survival stage will battle against one another in this round to earn a seat in the PMGC finals, which will be the team’s final opportunity to qualify. The top four teams in the points standings at the end of day 2 will advance to the finals. The remaining teams will be eliminated.
Finals will consist of a total of 16 teams
- 9 teams from Group A/B/C
- 4 teams from the Last chance
- 3 teams are special invite
