PMGC 2022 Format and Schedule: Check everything about PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022:  In November, PMGC 2022 will be separated into two parts: the League Stage and the Grand Finals. There will be more slots available for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship in 2022. The PMGC 2022, a prominent PUBG Mobile competition, will include 51 teams from around the world. In contrast to the 2021 edition, the overall prize pool has dropped from $6 million to $4 million.

PMGC 2022 FORMAT and schedule

PMGC league stages will be divided into three parts Group stages, Survival stages, and Last chance.
  • Group Stage – 10th November to 27th November

In the group stage, all 48 teams are divided into three subgroups, Groups A, B, and C. Each group contains 16 teams, and over the course of four days, these teams will compete against one another in a round-robin format. The top 3 teams from each group will automatically advance to the finals at the end of day 4, while the remaining 8 teams from each group will go to the Survival round, and the bottom 5 teams will be eliminated.

  • Survival stage – 30th November to 2nd December 

For three days, 24 teams will battle in the survival stage, all 24 teams are qualified for the Group stage. This round will feature participants from each Group stage group, and the top 16 teams from the points standings on Day 3 will advance to the Last Chance stage.

  • Last Chance – 3rd -4th December

The top 16 teams from the survival stage will battle against one another in this round to earn a seat in the PMGC finals, which will be the team’s final opportunity to qualify. The top four teams in the points standings at the end of day 2 will advance to the finals. The remaining teams will be eliminated.

Finals consist of a total of 16 teams

  • – 9 teams from Group A/B/C
  • – 4 teams from the Last chance
  • – 3 teams are special invite

grand finals schedule and teams:

16 teams, including three direct invites, will compete in the Grand Finals. In Indonesia, it will be a LAN event. The locations and events that have direct invitations, however, have not been made public by the organizers. Tencent has announced that the winner of the PEL Summer would receive a straight ticket to the PMGC Finals in 2022. China has four spots available for the Global Championship this year. The second and third-place teams in the PEL Summer will advance to the League Stage.

The Chinese teams have dominated past iterations of the world championships, as witnessed by PUBG Mobile followers. PMGC 2020 and PMGC 2021 were both easily won by Nova Esports. Four spots for Chinese teams have been announced by Tencent. While the teams in second and third place proceed to the league stage of the competition, the winner of the current PEL (Peacekeeper Elite League) 2022 Team SMG is given a straight invitation to the championship match.
