Damwon gaming becomes the winner of the PUBG mobile Rivals Cup, and qualified for PUBG mobile global championship 2022. PUBG (Player’s Unknown Battlegrounds) Mobile Rivals Cup (PMRC) 2022 is one of the qualifier events for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2022. Only teams from Korea and Japan are allowed to compete in this tournament. A berth in the Global Championship event is up for grabs among the top eight teams from each nation. Korea qualifiers: 16 teams from the fourth season of the PUBG Mobile Pro Series 2022 competed in the Korea Qualifiers, and 8 of those 16 teams advanced to the rivals cup. The qualifiers were a two-day tournament that featured five matches each day.
Japan Qualifiers: The Japan qualifying process has also been consistent. The qualifiers featured 16 teams from the PUBG Mobile Japan League Season 2 Phase 2. The order of the matches was similar to that of the Korean Qualifiers, and the top 8 teams qualified for the rivals cup. Both of the qualifiers had been held between September 17 and September 18, 2022.
At the end of the final day of the PUBG mobile Rivals Cup between Japan and Korea, DAMWON Gaming secured the first position in the overall standings by 154 points. Followed by Zeta Division and BC SWELL for the second and third positions by 114 points and 96 points and qualified for PUBG mobile global championship 2022
