When Will PMGC 2021 will Start?
The PMGC 2021 is set to begin on November 30 and last until January 23, 2022. Tencent earlier stated that it would be split into a four-week league stage and finals. However, the increased number of teams may need some alterations to the format.
How Many Teams Will Participate?
This will be the biggest event in PUBG Mobile esports history, with 40 teams playing for a $6 million prize pool. The actual allocation of slots across different regions has yet to be published.
What will be the PMGC 2021 format?
PMGC 2021 League stage will start on the 30th of November for the Eastern and western divisions separately.
PMGC 2021 League Stage (Nov 30- 19 December)
- Teams from SEA, MENA, SA, and China will battle for the top 16 spots in PMGC 2021 League finals which are set to start from 22nd December.
- Similarly in the Western division, Teams from Europe and America will battle for the top 16 spots in PMGC 2021 League finals.
PMGC 2021 League Finals (Nov 30- 19 December)
- The top 16 teams from Both Eastern and Western divisions will battle out for Entry in PMGC Grand Finals.
- The top 7 teams from Eastern and top 5 from the western division will get spots in the PMGC Grand finals.
PMGC Grand Finals (21 Jan 2022-23 Jan)
- 15 teams from League Finals + 1 Special Invite.
