Nexplay Esports has announced a collaboration with EVOS of Indonesia, as announced by Nexplay Esports CEO and founder Gabriel Benito during the team’s mid-year launch. EVOS Esports will use the name NXP EVOS in the  Philippines MPL Season 8 competition.

To compete in the next MPL Philippines Season 8, EVOS Esports has teamed up with Nexplay Esports. EVOS will now have a competitive Mobile Legends team in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines. EVOS Legends and EVOS SG are the current Mobile Legends champions in Indonesia and Malaysia, respectively.

EVOS Esports’ Chief Business Officer, Hartman Harris, commented:

“We’re very thrilled about our collaboration with Nexplay. We’ve seen the NXP Brand expand exponentially in the Philippines over the last year, and we’re thrilled to be able to collaborate with them to create a legacy for Mobile Legends in the Philippines”

Nexplay Esports competed in the MPL Philippines Season 7 and finished fourth in the group stage. After losing 1-3 against Work-Auster Force, they were forced to exit the lower bracket playoffs in the first round.
