PEL 2022 Summer Finals: SMG Crowned Champions, Top 3 into the PMGC 2022: After four days of fierce competition amongst 15 teams, the Peacekeeper Elite League (PEL) 2022 Summer Finals came to a close today. Still Moving Under Gunfire (SMG) triumphs in this month-long competition, followed by LGD Gaming and Nova Esports. TJB, the 2021 Season 2 champion, struggled throughout the regular season, scoring just 79 points and placing them in 21st position finally secured 4th position.
PEL is the prestigious Game For Peace (Chinese version of PUBG Mobile) event and is organised by Tencent. The top 3 teams qualified for PMGC 2022, which is planned to take place at the end of the year. Compared to PUBG Mobile esports competitions, it has a distinct structure and points allocation.

The team finishing at the number one spot -SMG received the direct invite to the PMGC 2022 Grand Finals. At the same time, the runner-up- NOVA Esports and the second runner-up- LGD Gaming got the invite to the PMGC 2022 League Stage. The top teams will be admitted to PMGC 2022 after the Bottom 18 teams compete in another anticipated competition. Elite clubs like 4 am and TJB will be watching this final opportunity closely as they didn’t perform well in the summer league. ReganS Gaming, the PEL champions from the previous season, will also attempt to requalify for the international competition.
