Tencent Games has announced Season 1 of the highest-level professional Chinese league of the “Peacekeeper Elite” a Chinese rebranded version of PUBG Mobile. Peacekeeper Elite League (PEL) 2021 Season 1 will start from 11th March 2021 where the top teams of the regions will compete to become the champions. There will be 20 professional teams who will participate in the six-week-long tournament.

FORMAT
PEL 2021 Season 1 will start from 11th March 2021 where it will have four matchdays per week. Each matchday will have 5 matches where weekly qualifiers will take place on Thursday from which top 10 teams will qualify for weekly finals. On Friday there will be knockout qualifiers where the top 5 teams will qualify for weekly finals which will be held on Saturday and Sunday. After the completion of the five-week regular season, the top 15 teams based on the weekly points will enter the finals for 4-day points match to compete in the Peacekeeper Elite League 2021 S1 season championship.

Peacekeeper Elite League is known for the highest prize pool in the history of Game For Peace (including PUBG Mobile eSports events). PEL will continue to increase its prize money in 2021, and the weekly champion teams will receive 1 million CNY ($154,000+ USD) in prize money.
FINALS
Peacekeeper Elite League 2021 Season 1 Finals will take place from 15th April to 18th April 2021. On the basis of weekly points, the top 15 teams will compete in the 4 days long finals. Tencent has not announced the prize pool for the finals of Peace Elite League 2021 Season 1.
