Peacekeeper Elite Championship 2020 is scheduled to be held from 14 November to 15th November where 15 teams will battle out for the most prestigious title of Game for Peace. PEC 2020 is the second World Championship of “Peacekeeper Elite” a Chinese rebranded version of “PUBG Mobile“. PEC 2020 have the massive prize pool of Â¥ 12,000,000 CNY ($1.78M USD).

Peacekeeper Elite Championship 2020 will be the first LAN event this year post-COVD 19 pandemic. Each team need to travel to the venue which is the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center. Due to Covid-19 global pandemic, teams ought to follow the quarantine guidelines which ensures the 28 days of quarantine for every team players and managers. The quarantine period will be separated in two-stage with 14 days each where 14 days of quarantine on arrival at Shangai and 14 days of quarantine go back to their countries. Due to travel restrictions and quarantine guidelines, many global teams denied attending the event.

The tournament consists of four best Chinese teams who have been constant favourites throughout the tournament. On the other hand, 11 global teams will showcase their skill around the globe. Each team will give an intense fight to win the title of PEC 2020. It will be interesting to see who will be crowned as the Champion of the Peacekeeper Elite Championship 2020.

The tournament will be played on the Game for Peace (Chinese version of PUBG MOBILE) with the Third Person Perspective (TPP) mode. PEC 2020 will have the 2 matchdays where each matchday contains 4 matches. A total of 8 matches will be played in Peacekeeper Elite Championship 2020.

Previously, Pakistani team Freestyle also got the invite for the event. But their slot got cancelled due to unavailability of flights to China. We also wouldn’t be able to see any Indian team from the South Asian region this year.
