On the digital cover of Cricket 22, the official video game of the Ashes, Pat Cummins has officially replaced Tim Paine. The news comes after an incident from 2017 in which Paine texted a female coworker disrespectful and obscene photographs revealed lately. Paine, on the other hand, will continue to appear on the game’s printed physical versions.
Due to the controversy surrounding Paine, the video game’s official release date was pushed back a week to Thursday, December 2. Big Ant Studios changed the cover of the digital versions on Tuesday, November 23, featuring fast bowler Pat Cummins and batter Meg Lanning, the captain of the Australian women’s cricket team.
