Palworld, also known as “Pokémon with guns,” has achieved a remarkable milestone by attracting over 5 million players within just three days of its release, with 86,000 copies selling each hour. The game is currently accessible through early access on platforms such as Steam, Xbox, and Windows PC. Notably, Palworld has broken multiple records, boasting a peak concurrent player count of 1,291,967 users online simultaneously on Valve’s platform.
In the multiplayer game Palworld, users, referred to as “pal-tamers,” fight against both human enemies and creatures known as “pals” as they explore an open-world area. These friends can be taken prisoner and used in battles, or they can be employed at a base making supplies that are needed in the field. The game combines survival features with the monster collection, giving players the option to have friends fight with them or help craft resources at the base.
Palworld’s 1.2 Million Concurrent Players record
Pocketpair’s “Pokémon with Guns,” made a significant impact by reaching a peak of 1.2 million concurrent players on its debut day. Impressively, it surpassed concurrent player records set by other popular games like Cyberpunk 2077, Baldur’s Gate 3, and Elden Ring. However, the unexpected popularity led to occasional login difficulties for players, attributed to server crashes. Some critics have voiced concerns, likening the game to a Pokémon rip-off because of the striking similarities in its creature designs.
#Palworld has sold over 4 million copies in only about 3 days!
